Help turning out/advice needed

As above - my new boy has been as new yard almost 2 weeks. Everything was going well turning out and bringing in until the last few days.

Y/O's puppy keeps winding horses up. My new boy now refuses to go out on his own as he's fed up of said puppy. Took 45 mins to turn him out this morning and puppy was only out for the last 15 mins!

Tried tough/soft and bribe approach but nothing! Took mare out for him to follow down and she acted spooked at the same spot. Other than locking puppy up in stable and turning out with others what can I do to build his confidence? Just keep at it?

Have you approached the yard owner about this ?

Maybe using the line that you'd hate to think the pup will get kicked if this carries on ? Totally irresponsible of the YO, and very dangerous too.

Y/O's really laid back so doesn't mind his pup being locked away for a few minutes.

Pup managed to get in field this morning - spooked the mare I took down who bolted from field and mine bolted into field. She's a pain but does it to all horses so everyone is fed up! She's only let out in the morning so not so bad.

i don't think they should have a dog loose on the yard that winds horses up.. soz.

my old horse killed the YO's dog. it was horrible, and i really felt for my YO... but the dog shouldn't have been chasing my horse!

Mine's a wimp though so would hurt himself first before dog. I'll have a word with Y/O.
