Hi guys, I was just wondering if any of you can help me understand my vets bill? :o

Im trying to figure out what injection did what etc :p

Sedivet - I presume that was the sedative? Will a similar one be used if he was being sedated to have his teeth rasped?

Intravenous injection

Nargesic

Neopen injection

Equipalazone injection

Norodine granules

There was others but I can make sense of them :o

I like to know what does what :p and also, he needs he's teeth rasping so he'll need sedating  the sedivet only cost £10.60 - is this right? seems cheap to me? :o

Any help appreciated :D

Yeah, the vets ringing me up tonight to check on my horse anyway so I should ask then, just thought I'd ask here first :D

Thanks :)

Basically your horse has had a load of antibiotics and pain relief as well as the sedative. The Intravenus Injection is literally the process of jabbing them not an actual medicine.

Yup, Sedi-vet is sedation.

Neopen is Penicilin.

Equiplazone is bute.

The Norodine granules are anti biotics.

And the Nargesic has 2 uses - one is pain relief the other is part of a combination for sedation. For your horse I am guessing it was used in a small dose with the Sedi-vet for the sedation.
