Hi all,

I am trying to trace my old loan horse 'Butler's Best' (stable name: 'Butler') and would appreciate any information anyone can give me!

I loaned him from 2010-2011. He was based in Hawkinge (near Folkestone) in Kent and remained there until he was sold in 2012-2013. I had to move back to Norfolk and had kept in touch with his old owner, but since he was sold we have not had any contact despite my best efforts!

I would therefore love to find out any news of where he is now and how he is getting on, whether good or bad (I have lots of pictures should they be needed!).

Butler is a 16.3hh bay thoroughbred who will be 11 this year. He has one white sock on his left hind and a stripe on his face which goes all the way down to his lips. There is a small bit of pink on his muzzle. He was an ex-racehorse and does crib/windsuck. He was very quiet and easy to do in all ways, snaffle-mouthed and did well at dressage- quite atypical for an ex-racer! I believe he was microchipped but I do not have the number.

Butler was a very special horse to me as it was him that got me back into riding and caring for horses again after a bad equine-related accident. He always looked after me and made me feel safe. I was unfortunately unable to buy him when he was put up for sale and have thought about him every day since, so it is for these reasons that I would love to know how he is.

This just leaves me to say thank you for taking the time to read this and I hope to hear some news soon!

:)
