As title realy, I have a lovely little section B that i show inhand - have posted questions on here about her :-). But she is ready to start a ridden show career and at the moment she has all different kids on her - but I would love to find one child or a family to ride her. I have transport but she lives at home with no school. I have tried advertising on internet but i dont know were else to look, as ideally would like a showing focused person. any ideas on were to find a rider? -

You could try your local pony club - see if there is a family into that level showing. If you call a few DCs in your local area they should know. You could also try advertising on the PC website.

I don't know if the local section of the British Show Pony Society might also have a mental list of little jockeys?

If you are wanting someone for showing have you tried looking on horse gossip? There might be someone on there looking for a pony to show.

Pony club. Plus you could go to local shows, & either keep an eye out for a competent kid who could either do with a good quality pony to ride, or who looks like they need to move up from current one, or go to affiliated shows/ contact secretary & ask if they know anyone. And ask everyone you know, word of mouth is the best advertising.

Pony Club is a good idea, or ask your farrier, they are a mine of useful contacts (and gossip if your farrier is anything like mine :D) He might know of a family who is growing out of their current pony.

Many thanks, sorry didnt put much info as didnt want to be seen as advertising she is a 12.2, 3 year old so has only been started, not fully riding away yet. I took her out at weekend inhand, next time out i will take an add for secretary + look out for people. will also try pony club. She is very easy and a nice person, is great around kids. Its not really the finacial side its more the riding.
