I've just bought a young horse from Ireland and he is going to stay in Ireland for 1 month (approx.) to start some early education (he's 3yo). I want to insure him as I have now paid for him but I am struggling go find a insurance company to insure him whilst he's in ireland. Due to Brexit a lot of companies have changed policy on this apparently.

Are you on Facebook? If you join Leisure Equestrian Association Ireland there's loads of useful information on there and plenty of people to advise you.

Hive Insurance are the main people offering insurance these days - there exist some brokers, and as Rowreach mentioned, Leisure Equestion Ireland on FB are very active and full of advice. I'm not sure you'd get a short term insurance offer, as insuring horses generally isn't a huge thing here, unless they're high performance horses.
