Help with a little riddles... Pretty please?Odd coloured sj mare

Have by one means or another ended up with a nice little riddle type thing to solve, so... Any ideas?

I have a little quiz for all show jumping fans. I think it’s not to difficult.

Most of the sport horses are solid, bays, sorrels sometimes greys. Especially in high competition classes you rarely see something else. But some month ago I’ve seen a beautiful exception of this.
The mare I saw was … I don’t want to give you too much hints. Let’s say she definitely had no solid color. And I’m talking about professional sport..

I am totally and utterly stumped! Maybe the lovel people of HHO can help?

I wonder if her name is colour based rather than her actual colour per se if that makes sense. No idea though just reading the riddle!
