Help with advert.

Have you decided on a price for him?

I would say the best places would be
horsemart.co.uk
H&H
horsequest.co.uk
local tack shops etc.

I like the way the advert is worded in the other post but other people may have some suggestions.

Had a look at the other post - wording is good and clear, and I think you've said everything you NEED to say, but if I were you I'd just add a bit about what a sweetheart he really is, and how ponies like that are hard to find - you want to make sure the ad appeals to parents looking for a first pony for their kiddies if you see what I mean...not sure if I'm making sense? Also, say why you're selling.
 
I would not put too much about him, I hate it when the adverts are really long, but do put in a line about it. Adverts in the local PC, tack shops are often good. As is H+H horsemart and horsequest. If you wanted www.carriagesales.com is free, and for a driving audience.
 
Your advert is fine, just say if the pony is registered if he is. Horsemart, Ad Horse, H & H, Horsequest, the pony club website and local tack shops would be the best places to advertise.
 
Dont write but he is only partialy broken to harness, say instead he is partialy broken to harness and enjoying it etc.

That is what I would change in the ad, sounds a bit more positive
 
People interested read between the lines, if hes good with farrier, clip, etc say it. Tell them if hes up to date with jabs, wormers, passorted and reg...Oh and how much are you asking... Out of interest (Sounds just want I'm after for nephew)

Excellent First Lead Rein Pony. 9.3HH, 10 years old, stocky shetland gelding. *Name* Has hunted on lean rein, Pony club, Pony camp, showing etc. Looked after by 2 and 7 year old and he is currently safely hacking off Lead rein with my 7 year old. 100% Box, Farrier, Clip, Bath etc and bomb proof with traffic. Lives in or out, alone or with company. Used to busy yards, farm etc. Could make fab driving pony and partially broken to harness. Sadly my childern need a bigger pony. £**** including all tack and rugs etc. Good homes only.
