Help with dilemma please.

Ed was due to go on loan today. He is actually on full livery so all it means is that the loanee will be sent the bill not me. Due to legitamate and unexpected family reasons they will not be able to ride him until Saturday so i am going to ride him this week. Do you think I should pay his livery until Saturday or should the loan start today as agreed in the contract?

start today as agreed - you are just helping them out.
If you are very wealthy, then offer to pay, otherwise they will not expect things to change just becuase they can't ride.

I think the contract starts as of today...unless you discuss otherwise with them..
