My sister has major problems with her neighbours kids coming into her garden to get their ball back, they lift up the fence panel , she has 6 dogs which although good natured could react to children suddenly appearing in their garden , the fence belongs to the neighbours so by law my sister can not touch it, she has put aload of plant pots along, but these just got smashed , the kids are horrible as are the parents, shout and swear at my sister and have threatened to report my sister for her dogs barking [ they do but not to excess ] she has had enough , i told her to leave aload of dog poo along the fence , any advice would be great please .

Could your sister not errect her own fence inside the current one on her side so even if the kids can lift the fence panel all they see is another fence in the way?

Ditto that, I think her only option is another fence - sorry. Kids shouldn't be able to trespass on your sisters garden, esp as its full of dogs and she doesn't get on with the neighbours, but I doubt anything but a fence would stop them, and tell them to stop kicking their balls over ffs, they might stop doing that when they can't get them back, oh and they're destroyed by the dogs (at least thats what my dog would do!) :D

Another fence inside the existing one -paint the panels on the outward side with anticlimb paint before fixing.
Any balls coming over are forfeit - hand in at the local cop shop as found property.

I have my own row of 6ft fencing all the way around my garden even though the neighbours both out the back and the one I have next door all have perfectly good fencing, the ressona sbeing it's extra security for me and I board dogs, so it eliminates ebing able to dig or anyone removing or taking down their fence to paint or repair and me coming home to no fence. I also have 20 ft connifers all the way around infront of the fence.

The big meanie in me wants to recommend a line of electric fencing:D

I agree with this sorry but they are trespassing... If they complain point out to them that it's your property and if they didn't trespass they wouldn't get zapped! :D

Perhaps if I was in a good mood I'd consider this as a less extreme idea!

Plant lots of spikey, prickly bushes all along the fence boundry - you can get quite mature plants online for a reasonable price - probably on ebay too!! It will take a year or so to establish a thick hedgeline but once it's there it will deter kids, dogs and burglars!!
