Help with horse shopping?!

Can anybody help me with trying to find a horse, this is some things we are looking for

-15,3hh plus
-good on roads
-confidence giver
-north west area!

I've just been to see a gorgeous big grey horse and what she described to us sounded perfect. But when we got there, its feet was so badly overgrown, terribly obese and it had a Bucky canter, I found this surprising especially when she said it was a show horse? Poor boy. Also she said he was very good on the roads but spooked at pretty much everything. Why is horse shopping so hard? lol im tired of going to see these "perfect" horses and then get disappointed especially after a long journey there and back! So if anybody helps me find a good horse then il really appreciate it!!! Thankyou!

oh goodness another Jackanory seller. I suppose they think that you will turn up and believe all their nonsense and be a big mug and hand over the money.

I wish there was an answer perhaps we should all be obliged to have a horse survey done before you even visit(a bit like the homesellers pack). How annoying. No advice but am cross for you as hard to find a good one.
