Help with loading...

My horsey won't load and its very frustrating!! He will put 4 feet on the ramp the refuses to budge.. he will walk through the box eventually but when you add the breach bar he panics he will occasionally load but very inconsistent. I intend to take him back to basics ( only had him a few months)

Can anyone recommend a good 'teacher' who can help us crack this?

If it were me, i would start feeding every day in the trailer. Let him know it's there, then it's up to him whether he gives in and goes into the trailer or not. BUT if he doesn't, he gets no feed.

I've seen people make such a big issue over horses not loading, and it's been really scary at times. I would keep it very low key and go with the food option. i think sometimes horses just don't want to "back down".
