Thank you for your replies about whats the worst thing about having horses! I'm glad I'm not the only one who doesn't like poo picking!! I've now decided to bite the bullet and look for a free-lance groom to occassionally do some of the jobs I don't have time for when I have by busy times at work.
My main question is what sort of price should I expect to pay? Is there any hidden clauses or anything like that i should watch out for? And does anyone know of any one near great yarmouth? Thanks : -)

Generally around £10/hour for an insured one who knows what they are doing. This may not include travel.
Ask for proof of insurance and check that they class themselves as self employed.

Just to give you an idea, I was paying some £12 per visit (!!!) and all she did was feed, poo pick and tidy the bed....no mucking out. This included her travel for which she was charging me 50p/mile. I wish you luck in your search. Try asking at your local RC or stick an advert in the tack/feed shop.
