We are advertising my 4yo in a couple of weeks so have started to think about writing an advert for her.

So here is the basic outline:
4yo Bay mare by Destiny Son, 16.1hh. She has been xc schooled over intro/pn fences- doesn't even hesitate through water, good over ditches/drops etc, and jumps all spooky fences. Never spooky, whether out hacking or at fillers. Has been autumn hunting 5 times; the most recent was children preference meet, where we were asked to go on point with the joint master- this involved going away from the rest of the field, being up at the front and jumping away from everyone- she was very well behaved! She is good with traffic (dont know about tractors or motorbikes yet, but the usual cars/trucks/bikes she is fine), has been out on her own and in company, doesn't hot up when she gets into an open field. Is schooling very nicely, canter still needs work but we are getting there! Has been showjumping (just clear round stuff) and she went clear round a 2"6ft course full of fillers (they even put a water tray in!). She has amazing scope, has jumped 1.10m with me at home (course of 5 fences).
Nice temperament and good looking. Good to shoe, box, dont know about clipping yet as she is being done tomorrow for the first time!
Needs a confident rider simply because she is still young/green, and I think she could be ruined quite easily by someone who isn't confident.

Pictures...I am going real hunting on Saturday so dad is coming along to take some pics at the meet, going xc schooling again on friday to get pics of her thru water/over ditches etc, and we will get some schooling pics once she has been clipped

But what about any of these...

She looks really lovely! 1st pic over brush fence is nicer IMO as she is neat in front...looks like shes having real fun and not sweating!

Thanks- she was sweating in the 2nd pic as it was very warm and that was the last jump we did (bypassed it first time round as it looked too tricky, step up bounce to that, but gave it a go on the way back to the box and she popped it no problem lol!)

I like the hedge pic too, might try and brighten it up a bit as it looks a bit dark and dingy

She is really lovely.

Your description reminds me of the mare we purchased 12 months ago. A 4 1/2 yr old 16.1 WB for a very long legged 13 yr old daughter (at the time).

The NO list included no youngsters or mares lol but we have never regretted it.

Sorry no ad narrative Im sure you wont have trouble selling, she really sounds fantastic.

Agree with nosey, 1st pic is best - she's not looking overly keen in the rest! Apart from the first SJ pic, but she is messy in front - although maybe not a problem as she is green and advertised as such?

Lovely mare! If I were looking I'd bite your hand off

Thanks everyone- she isn't the most photogenic of horses I must admit!

She is vice/blemish free too, I don't know much about confo but there is nothing glaringly obvious wrong with her lol! She passed a 5 stage vetting when we bought her earlier in the year too

4yr old 16.1hh TBxConnemara bay mare by Destiny Son. Bold scopey jump and forward thinking but sensible attitude. Been XC schooling upto PN xc fences, ditches water etc no problem. Jumping upto 1.10 at home, excellent over any filler/water tray etc. Good (straight?) mover. Hacks out alone and in company, and excellent to shoe etc etc Experienced home wanted for this young mare to fulfill her competition potential.

Hope that helps?!

Well long story! Plan was to keep her and event her along side my other horse next season. However, we have decided to sell my other horse (the grey in my siggy) at the start of next season- she is currently on holiday- as after a season of eventing my grey has proved she isn't really up to what I really want to do. Therefore, to enable me to fulfill my dream, I need to sell Lacey too, to help fund my next horse.

Hope that makes sense!
