Can some clever person answer this as I cant find the info needed.
" What are the legislative requirements and reasons for 'withdrawl periods' before a horse is distroyed."
Should have said it is in the health section in relation to drug administration.

Cannot help on legislative requirements but reason for withdrawal period is to do with the animal entering the food chain. Withdrawal period is, as I understand it, the period after which the drug is no longer present in the body and therefore will have no effect on a third party if the carcass enters the food chain.
