Help with Rambo rug please! Just a quick question!

Love this site, everyone is super helpful!

My horse has been spoilt, I have fed my rug addiction lol, he has a rambo duo, new on today but when I brought him in from the field it had slipped back and was tight... not like the Amigos. Not sure if its because he had another rug over the top (same as what was over Amigo and that didn't slip) or if its because I fastened the belly straps wrong...?

How do you do the 3 belly straps?

Cross the end 2 and middle straight or keep all straight?

I cross the end 2 & keep the middle straight, never had it slip.

cross the end 2 middle one straight. dont think the rambos are cut the same as the amigos!

My tack shop told me,

Amigos patterns are cut to size i.e. 6'3" and then the binding and finishing is done. Making the rug slightly smaller than 6'3".

Rhinos and Rambo's pattern are cut bigger and then the binding is done to make it the correct size rug.

That's interesting to know clairec1154. I could never decide if my horse was a 6'9" or a 6'6" in Rambo's but the Amigo 6'9" fits her perfectly!
