Hi,

I've found this saddle in my garage and was wondering if anyone could help with any information about it—its value, what it's used for, or what I should do with it?photos here

I don't own any horses and I'm not sure how it ended up here.

Thank you!

It looks rather nice 🙂. Is there a local horse boarding place or riding school you can take it too and ask advice.

It seem to have no brand at all - just says SC cuoro leathero de buffalo. Or something like that at least

yeah its a bit odd, it roughly translates as Commercial Company of buffalo leather, in Italian but leathero isn't an Italian word. Does it feel like good quality leather? Soft and flexible? Its hard to work out the quality via a photo.

It seems very similar to https://treelesssaddle.com/collections/endurance-saddles I'd send them an email see if they can shed any light on it. It could well just be a cheap indian knock off though.

I would very much expect it to be an Indian knock off. I looked on Ebay and there are a lot of various designs, some similar though not the same, new for about £300 but I wouldn't expect it to fetch anything near that.
The lego will sell much more easily.

I would ask on specialist saddle FB groups (eg Saddle Fitting Discussion), if it's Indian or worse then you need to make it unusable and dump it. If it's better than that then best to know what it is, I think it looks like some kind of half breed treeless, and it's odd, like no panels/spinal clearance etc, so I'd be worried about it being used as is.
