Help with show name!!!

I just bought this fabulous horse and he doesn't have a good show name on his passport - his name is Finlay, he is dark dappled grey and his sire is called Golden River and I thought this could be incorporated with it - please help!!! - sorry no pictures - i dont know how to put them on!!!

Finlay's Gold?
Something linked to gold/luck - Pot Luck, Lucky Charm ;)
Or to use the River aspect, use a river as a prefix, like Amazonas Finlay (rubbish, I know, but just an example). Is he Irish? I'm just assuming he is because his name is Finlay :D if he is you could use the name of a river in Ireland as a prefix?
Naaah I dunno, I'm not very good at this! I'm not very creative. My horses are named after a band, and a character from LOTR! :D

Golden rush, pot luck, Golden Thunder, Golden Fin, Limited Edition (completely irrelevant but always loved that name!), Luck of the irish, Lucky clover
 
Oh he's a beauty! He definitely needs a handsome, noble name.
Not like my chubby, bouncy, mischievious cob mare, who is named Merry Brandybuck. She's short, round and hairy, much like a hobbit, hence the name :D
 
Come on you Irish folk out there,more Irish suggestions needed for my daughters horse.I thought of Golden River Finlay but he also has WB brreding on the dam side and has such nobles as Animo as great grandsire,and even Nimmordor further back.On the Irish side there is a Silver Vixen and wondered about silver in the name.It is so hard trying to come up with something remotely original.
 
how about just adapting his sires name to Golden Stream

or Aurum River - aurum is latin for gold, and where the atomic symbol of Au for gold comes from.

or Silver River - like his dad but as Finlay is a grey i would class him as a silver boy!

or Silver Stream - could be followed by his name to make it Silver Stream Finlay

I really like silver stream finlay thats a great suggestion.Hope daughter likes it too but she's out at the mo so cant ask her.Guess she will get the idea when she logs on.We did consider silver river already but i still like the silver stream idea.
