Help with uploading pics please

Please can someone explain to me how to upload pics onto a thread( in not too technical language). I have some in photobucket but can't seem to work out how to get them on here.

If you click on the picture, 4 links will come up on the right of it. You want to one that begins

Only wish I could explain better, but here goes (apologies); resize to 640 x 480 and click on bottom img code (in box to right of your resized photo) do ctrl and c to copy and paste into message box on here.
My problem is getting the photos from the pictures library into photobucket in the first place , as it seems to be going ok then just takes forever, or at least till I give up and cancel. Old p'bkt didn't take so long

thanks suffolkmare, I have just managed to upload one on another thread, although it's huge and I will try and resize like you suggested.
