Help with vacs?

Just had my new horse vaccinated. I have had to restart vacs as previous owner 'mislaid' the vaccination certificate.

So 1st jab of primary course given today and I was expecting vet to say 2nd jab due in 4 - 6 weeks (28 - 42 days) but said can be done anytime within 21 - 92 days.

Having googled it I have found that manufacturers recommendations state 28 - 42 days but Jockey Club and FEI say anytime between 21-92 days.

And just to confuse matters further the tetanus part of the jab is due in 28 days (recommended).

So what is right???

If tetanus due in 28 days stick with that or it will cost you a fortune in visits.

ohh I'm glad you asked this as I have just had the same thing, the vet wrote 21-92 day but then underneath 4-6 weeks!?

she didn't tell me anything about it being different for flu or tetanus so was going to ring the vets again next week for clarification.
