Hi,

I've been thinking about finding a rider for my wee welsh section a.

I'm 5'7" and he's 11.2hh so we look a bit wierd and although that doesn't bother me I can't take him pony clubbing or anything.

He's nearly 10 yrs old and hasn't done a whole lot.

My main worry / difficulty is that he's definately not straightforward. He's 90% blind in one eye, thinks he's a stallion and can be a real handful at times. But, he prefer's to be in work than sat in the field doing nothing and once he's fit he can be great fun.

So, basically, (I think) I need a very gutsy, very talented young rider to take him out and show him places, and not let him take the mick - give him an inch he'll take a mile!

What do you think?
don't get me wrong I love him to bits and love riding him as we have great fun and we understand each other, but I've not ridden him as much as I'd have liked over the winter and think he deserves more. I don't however, want to put a child in 'danger' (can't think of the word I want) and am not sure about people being honest about their child's ability.

Sorry for rambling, advise please?!
