My horse is 11 year old dutch warmblood, he was jumping fox 4 years ago and was going well then, he started to get spooky and his work felt laboured, he was xrayed and was diagnosed with twisted vertebrae in his neck he never returned to showjumping at the level he was doing before although rideable, he was originally prescribed osteopath treatment and 6 months field rest he came back into work but was never the same. recently his behaviour has changed and he has become very difficult< he is having regular physio but it doesn't seem to be helping. physio has just said to keep riding him straight and correct. Any ideas re what path i can go down next to help him? can you recommend any other treatment i.e accupuncture (anyone had any experience of this?) or something that may help as its so difficult to assess how much pain he is in. please help i'm desperate to do the right thing for him unfortunately he has been written off insurance wise so my funds are limited.

We use a wonderful woman called Jin Langstone. She's a Master Equine BodyWorker. MEBW, BSc (Hons), PGdip
Her website is www.kismettherapy.co.uk
I would recommend her to ANYONE! She does so much more than her website says. In fact, she discovered what was amiss with my lovely mare when the vet had no idea (although he did try his best!)
Jin has an amazing affinity for horses. I trust her implicitely. (And her rates are very fair!)
No, I'm not on commission.....

It'll cost you a phone call to talk to her. Don't give up your horse will come through!
