help worming help!!!!

hi please help me! basically i have moved yards and at my old yard the yo used to sort out the worming.
i have been trying to contact her to ask her what she was on but i cant get hold of her i have been ringing texting going up there and she wasnt there!!
so what do i do? all i know is that she needs to be wormed soon can i start a new plan or somthing??

It's about the right time of year to start a new plan anyway but would be helpful to know what program you had last year. if you do a wormer search on the internet you should come up with something - I know that CWG Ltd equine owners club has a good one if you do a search on that.

... and I would start off this time of year with a wormer that also covers tapeworm as we come up to that time of year...

If she's been on a regular plan, I'd get a worm count done first. It will give you an idea of what wormer would be best to use (but doesn't show tape worm).
There is no point giving wormer just for the sake of it, and you don't want her to become resistant.

Most people have to at some point as not always worming history is known; so I would work something out and go with it from now

The only problem is you need to know what type of wormer plan you were on as you should only give the same drug for two years then change to a different type so that you dont build up resistance.
Is there no-one at your old yard who might know even the brand name?
Vets are always a safe bet for worming plans!
