Not the white coat, unless you want it an unattractive shade of brownish-green by the end of the day !

I would wear the black coat with a bodywarmer, and probably a jumper as well. Its going to be freezing. Have you got a woolly hat or something to wear when you are not riding? You lose loads of heat through your head.

Hope you have a super time !

Thanks CartHorse my mum and dad dislike horses, and its only me, they think its a "phase"

Trundle, because im at a certain age, I have to wear my hat when ever on the yard, so itll remain on.

Thank you.

Really dont worry about what you look like - i know its hard when everyone has the best gear - just remember it doesnt make them any better riders! Good luck, just keep your eyes and ears open and learn lots, thats what matters. I think you are doing really well.

Ha, my parents thought I was just going through a "phase" as well....the "phase" has lasted 31 years so far, and is still going strong !! Stick at it, Nick, you are doing so well.

Wear whichever is the warmest and most comfortable. Puffas can go in the washing machine so although white is not ideal for yard work, I would wear this if it's warmer than the black-coat/bodywarmer combo. Just chuck it in the washing machine when you get home.
