I was wondering if horses are really playing up, refusing to move, ears flat back etc. Does it always mean there in pain or playing up stubborness? I mean, shes been like this for weeks now and just getting worse however shes not tryed getting me off yet or anything and hasnt threw a buck or anything. Ive been sooo worried its been about her back but havent been able to get a back person out yet to see, and on the waiting list for the dentist aswell.however, ive been told its her purely playing up and she might be getting bored in the school, but now when i school her in the fields she gets annoyed

I would certainly get teeth and back checked first before doing anything else. I brought a horse off a chap who was at the end of his tether with the same problem had everything checked but he still point blank refused to do anything. When we got him home he was a nightmare, he wouldn't hack, school, jump, our last resort was we took him hunting and he came back a different horse, he loved it, since then he has done a massive 360 turn around and is a fantastic hunter. Although i do appreciate hunting might not be something you want to try!! I hope it all works out for you.

I pretty much agree with CNM - check back, teeth, saddle first but then I would say probably bored. Stop schooling totally for a few months and just let her chill out hacking, sponsored rides that kind of thing. Maybe even turn her away for a month or so first.

Im going on holiday for 2 weeks, shes having a holiday then, hopefully when i get back i will have an oppointment for the dentist and back person sorted. Thankyou for your support, just needed to get it out

Try not to get yourself so worked up over it because i'm sure that doesn't help either of you. The 2 of you have a break and just relax.
