Don't guess, ask your vet how many for your horse.
16hh could be a skinny tb or a mahooosive Breton like ours, and there can be other factors involved in gauging dosages.
 
its for a w/b t/b its for lamness she is on 3 a day i am just wondering what every one thought if she had to stay on it full time how many do people call a high dose?x
 
well your vet is the expert in these things, so id trust what hes said.
id class 4 days as short term, therefore 3 isnt bad.
trust your vet in this case not what other people think. if he thought that it was too much he wouldntve prescribed it.
we gave my pony 4x a day for about 3-4 weeks prior to her being PTS. vet ok'd this amount to keep her comfortable till the deed was done. he agreed that the amount she was being given wouldnt give her side effects like photosensitivity or liver damage in this short period, and even if it did she was being PTS.
