Desperately looking for old Goresbridge and Cavan sales catelogues - someone must have some!
My Connemara X was bought as a 4yo at either Goresbridge or Cavan, Jan or April 2001 sales and imported to UK for showjumping. Has had several owners since then and a successful BSJA career. Unfortunately his papers were lost somewhere along the way - don't think previous owners interested in his breeding.
At the age of 14 think its time he had a 'career break', although he loves competing. Have started dressage, working hunter and combined training with him. Would love to register him with the Connemara society too but have drawn a blank in tracing his bloodline.
Have contacted the people who originally brought him over from Ireland and apparently his breeding was listed in sales catelogue. If I could get hold of one would be wonderful - any ideas appreciated.
Have contacted Goresbridge and Cavan but no reply. He was microchipped at point of sale and this seems to point to the fact that he was more likely sold at Goresbridge but the seller never registered their details, so no lead there. Thx
