does anyone use this bedding, i have just put my horse on it ,it seems quite good but how do you muck out and keep the bed flat it seems to move about a lot,i have seen other horses on this and it seemed to make a nice firm bed that doesnt move, maybe its somthing i am doing.i did spray with water when i first put it down so maybe i havent used enough water?

How long has it been down??? It does take a few days to settle and can be quite slippery under foot to start off with (my friend used to use it).

Definately, think she said it was slippery for 3 or 4 days, so should be better by the weekend.

It's brilliant ! I am a total convert after trying most other sorts of bedding. I have rubber mats and it cant be beaten I feel. I just poo pick for two days, take the wet out the third and so on. A thorough bottoming every week or ten days . I put down a square of Hemcore - about 6 x6 in a 12x12 stable.

Hi Bunti, if the bed is still moving around then you need to add water. When I used to use Hemp and laid a new bed I put down one bucket per bale, that used to do the trick!
