It all started out so well...

Come on Mum, get the car moving!

The sun was shining the water was lovely...

Digging in the sand - all good fun..

But then there were also the:
TWO totally innocent bystanders who got REALLY jumped all over

The many other innocent bystanders who got mildly jumped all over

The many many many times that sudden onset deafness afflicted the poor ickle doggy

And to finish it off... the HUGE lump of unidentified poop that the devil dog rolled in and got all over his collar so when I got hold of his collar to wipe it off his back, I got a lovely handful.. nice...

He did come back at least once though!!!

Who Mum? Me Mum? Possessed by the devil Mum? Surely not...

Anyone want a spaniel? Free to a good home (or a bad home...)

just like my little Sweep!!

Send him to me immediately one more devil spaniel dog won't make any difference......

If its any help Sweep is 12 this year and..........hasn't improved at all!!!!

In a strange way that does make me feel a bit better...

I just keep telling myself - he is so much better than Barney was at that age. He has never stolen anyones glove off their hand. Nor has he ever ran between the legs of a little old lady and carried her off on his back... or knocked someone down in the street in front of a queue of people... stolen anyone's umbrella... pulled a dog trainer over... left me clutching a lampost to avoid being pulled across the road... all of which Barney had done by this point in his life!

Gundogs - who'd have 'em????
