Henry is home and is curled up next to me on the sofa (having been lifted up very carefully - no jumping for him!). He has a row of staples on his tummy and shows no sign of having learned anything - within a minute of entering the house he was investigating the (empty) bin!!!

He is on a scrambled egg diet for the next few days and restricted exercise

- so I may have eight foot arms soon! Am having a day off tomorrow to look after him.

Thank you for all the vibes and hugs - I will post a picture soon

Glad to hear he is on the mend! I remember having to look after a very woozy GSD the size of a small cow a few years ago, a couple of days lugging her on and off the furniture and I had amazing muscles....

I don't have a bin at all at home, it all goes in a bag on the utility room door so unless he can work out how to open a latch (wouldn't put it past him) it's safe... it's just at my parents house that he gets into trouble!

He is curled up on his bed which I have put next to my feet, and has just had his ears washed because he was sick on them while he was having his op

All things considered he is ok although he is quite swollen unsurprisingly!
