Bl**dy hell this dog will be the end of me... I have been bringing his bed into the living room so he will lie on that and not get onto the sofa. Just had to shut him in the kichen for a moment to stop him escaping when someone came to the door. Let him back in, sat on the sofa and told him to get on the bed (a command which he knows very well indeed).

Instead he leapt right over the bed onto the sofa

BAD DOG he knows full well that he does not get onto the furniture without beng invited and it is a totally different command so no chance he was confused, the little so and so.

He is never going to get better at this rate!!!!

Am taking him to see the vet anyway so will have to see what they have to say about this matter

On the one hand it must mean he is feeling better, but on the other hand he won't feel better for long if he carries on like this!

Naughty boy....

I remember taking my old girl (the one I had to lift on and off the furniture!) back to remove her stitches after a hysterectomy, thinking I had done so well keeping her immobile, only for the vet to tell me that she had already removed them by herself, and I hadn't noticed...
