As I posted a few days ago that henry had a cough, I decided to get the vet out and have him checked over. Vet came today and said he probably has a little bit of flu and gave me some antibiotics for him to take twice a day incase of any bacterial infection going on inside. She also said it might have been a mild case of strangles, but said probably not, tried to take swabs but henry being henry didn't want them and kicked up a fuss so she gave up on that idea and said if cough and cold persist then she'll be back in 5 days for a check up and definat swabs to test whats wrong! He's icelated from other horses and not happy about that!
Was meant to have had a show on Sun, but obviously not going now! No riding until he is 100% better which means fat boy as starvation paddock is very grassy at the mo and he is eating two meals a day- for medicine (can't go in box as gets very worried and mad being on his own inside) !!
