Hera is one year old today :p

My other horses are not doing anything remotely interesting at the moment so thought I'd share a little update on Hera, who is celebrating her first birthday today

She was born at a very civilised hour early evening last year

Gave Salty the run around all summer

enjoyed lots of snoozes

got up to mischief

Made a new friend

grew a big fluffy coat

and then (mostly) shed it

Oh yeah for sure! the 3yo is a big sleeper too, he's changed a fair bit since arriving in December. It's very tiring work growing up! I'm pinching the shelter from the oldies for when they move to the summer field, cos I think they will appreciate it for their snooze time.

Just have to wait and hope she grows now... she's got a fab temperament, i think I'm going to like doing stuff with her a lot.
