Doesn't appear they are too popular on these forums! Probably the best way I can find out is get a worm count done, worm with Verm X then get another count done??
I know a few racehorse trainers that don't use anything else but herbal preparations.
I have used herbal wormer (Verm X and a liquid variety called Multi Worm) on my elderly cob for the past three years. I have been very pleased with the results (based on worm counts and blood testing results).
Bear in mind that you may not be able to effectively treat or repel tapes but can I suggest you contact both Verm X and Multi Worm and talk to them, I phoned and found them very enlightening!
I HAVE JUST BOUGHT A PACK OF VERM X TO USE ON MY THREE AS I HAVE ALWAYS WORRIED ABOUT CONVENTIONAL WORMERS .
SO HERE GOES I WILL POSSIBLY WORM COUNT BEFORE AND AFTER TO SEE WHAT HAPPENS
