Ok so I havn't actualy had him a year yet (not till Nov) But I'm so proud of the progress my little man has made. I made the video early. He's come such a long way from that awful, nasty little pony that alot of people told me to give up on. I'm so glad I didn't give up on him. He has made the most awful year alittle more bareable and for that I am truly thankful for. He was there for me (in his own funny little way) when I needed him most. :)

Lovely video, you've done a great job on a charming little pony. Mine helped me through a tough year too, even though he was a challenge himself, so I understand how much he means to you.
 
Great video Laura - I didn't realise you have only had him since last November. It is amazing to see the difference between the two grooming and loading videos - what a great job you have done.

Looking forward to seeing where you go next with one another x.

Ommadawn I got him just after Lucy was diagnosed :( I can't believe how far we've come already. He's such a diffrent boy now I'm so glad he proved me right to have such faith in him. :D

heidirusso my ponies are the biggest part of my life. :) They are always there when I need them and I can tell them anything and know they won't run round telling everyone else ;) :D
 
LOL thanks. He is such a dude. He has such a personality now he make me laugh with some of the silly things he does. :D Now when he is naughty he just look at me with those big eyes and I just melt. I can't stay cross with him for long. :)
 
Ah Laura, that was lovely, really tugged at the heartstrings! What a lovely pony Herbie is, you are luck to have found each other, well done for persevering..looking forward to next year's video x
 
ooo I think I must have got a bit of dust in my eye when I watched that....had to dab them with a tissue.

Loving the fact that as soon as he won the red rosette it was head down in the grass :-)))

lachlanandmarcus He thought that should be his reward for being such a good boy. I didn't mind to much though as long as he doesn't make a habbit of it while we are being judged. :o
 
What a beautiful change for both of you: loved it when he was giving back some love and affection while you were grooming him! It's amazing how love, effort and patience can change a horse: he's a credit to you 80)
 
Oww I don't know if it's that time of the month but I could cry now- in a nice way! That is so so lovely! He clearly trusts you and respects you a great deal, and to see the improvement is fantastic. The grooming at the beginning is classic!
