For those of you that don't know, we let our welsh springer dog to a friends welsh bitch, very successful mating for two first timers, very successful pregnancy, 62 days later i had a call at 3.45am saturday to say puppy number one had popped out, woken up owner who was sleeping with her and scared the poor bitch to death!!! She rejcted it and so i went to help. They managed to ge pup on before i got there (about 10 mins) but really wasn't happy. Three hours later no pup number 2, called the vet who said to meet her at surgery (just over the road) at that moment out popped pup no2. 7 1/2 hours later we had 5 boys and 1 girl, but that wasn't it, there was up no7 stuck in the birth canel for about half an hour, vet phoned again, and again at that moment out another boy popped. Feel very lucky to have 7 very healthy happy puppies, mom has now got the jist of those strange squeeky things and has now got very posessive!! We are keeping the bitch. I will post pics asap!
