Here's a question that no one asks about in hand!

I would imagine you keep moving and ignore it!

You wouldn't stop your dressage test or jumping a course if you horse need to go. They get used to doing while on the move!

my teacher always says: "only common horses stop to poo" (basically coz i used to be soft and let all the horses I rode stop to poo if they needed)

Basically no its like any work a horse does, they don't stop to do it! :) its just naff if you have a white legged horse and it all goes down them! :)

Unless it's during your individual show (or people behind are about to crash into you) I always let them stop - because they have white hind legs! And i'd rather like them to remain white.

If I was in a dr test or doing the trot bit or my individual show in hand then I'd keep them moving as they only last a few mins anyways (the tests I mean!) but if in the show they were all walking round or lined up then I would def let them stop.
