Hero’s charity/rehoming?

I think there was a racehorse rehoming charity on the tv a while ago because as well as retraining racehorses they use some of horses as therapy for mentally challenged children , not sure if it’s adults as well . Don’t have any personal knowledge though

Haven't rehomed from them but been to many of their open days - I would use them quite happily - but their loan fees are quite steep and unlike Bluecross etc where after a certain period of time the horse's ownership passes to you, they retain ownership. They do some brilliant work and have some lovely, lovely horses that they put a lot of time and work into to turn into horses who really can put their hoof to anything

I live locally and have heard a few stories of horses poorly matched to new homes, so have been returned but the steep loan fee is kept by Heros. I’d tread very carefully and make sure any horse is thoroughly tried (as you would for a purchase).
