Basically my sister has purchased a horse from a dealer with riding club and pony club competitions in mind. A few days in and he has been diagnosed with herpes type 4.
Finding a nice competition horse that suits her and her son isn't easy (particularly on a budget) but also there is no point buying trouble (she still has the option to return the horse).
So does anyone have experience of owning a competition horse that has been diagnosed with herpes type 4?
