Herts: Rugs stolen off ponies.

Having put extra hay out and checked the ponies turned out in the fields last night six ponies had their rugs stolen. Aside from the fact that some of them were clipped and it was absolutely freezing, the thieves took the rugs leaving them in sub zero temperatures and could not have cared less.

Please mark your rugs in bold letters on both sides in order to stop the same thing happening to you.

Everyone at Catlips knows as do the OBH Pony Club - you will find that many horses turned out in the vicinity have had 'paint jobs' done on their rugs already.

I am near there too will let YO know if she does not not already - our fields are not accessible by road so someone would need to come on to the yard directly and we have upped our security due to all the thefts in the area.

The thefts in our have really got out of hand.

Absolute sickos, poor horses, how can someone do that. I have my big giant post code painted on my rugs coz you hear that happens.
