Cant blame the bloke for trying while there are still idiots out there prepared to give the man money for rubbish....

the amount of times this guy, in various guises has been in the media and STILL people buy from him!!??!!

if nobody bought from him wanting something for nothing, he'd be out of business in a week.

Don't count £4,000 as something for nothing

my something for nothing comment comes from the fact that these animals are meat ..so worth NOTHING.

he is making money out of buying meat market fodder from holland and belgium, and selling to numptees over here who think they are getting a bargain!!!

In response to the earlier post about the guy in the South who used to be in business with him - if this is the guy I think it is then he has actually been in operation for a LONG time and in fact D Thomas got his business started off with his help not vice versa. This particular guy though whilst I agree VERY dodgy does not and will not sell horses for the ridiculous rip off prices of £4000 - I think his max is about £2500 (if he sees someone coming...) and one thing also is that he will ALWAYS to my past knowledge, take a horse back....

Its not a he so not the guy your refering to... and I didnt say they started their business with the help of D Thomas, I said they set up on on their own after jumping ship at horse imports before the poop hit the fan... and I didn't make the comment about prices but this person does try and sell horses at rip off prices (well if you call trying to sell a horse for £5000 that they tried to sell me a few weeks before at £1500 as a broodmare with intermittent lameness, a rip off price) and doesn't take horses back...
I am one of said people who has been had by this person (have reported to trading standards and have my own legal action pending so can't say too much) and I am in touch with a person that was sold a horse that turned out not to match its paperwork when they found the microchips didn't match, also a person who bought a horse that turned into an unrideable loon within several days that the person has refused to take back...and a few other people who are in the process of suing the person I mean.

sorry Horsegroupie, I wasn't having a go at you about the guy in the South. I know there are way too many unscrupulous people out there that just won't give up and so I really feel for you. I hope the horse you bought off this person is doing alright now and whilst definately not what you intended to have has at least fallen upon better circumstances than where you rescued it from.

Sorry too my message wasn't suppose to sound sooo brisk, i was just getting all the facts typed as quickly as possible, I wasn't offended by your reply I just telling everyone as much as I can about someone without gettin into trouble about it...(hugs)
