Yikes! 
Hugo passed his vetting with flying colours! In fact, the vet was really complimentary - said he was sound as a pound, really lovely nature, tried so hard to do what was asked of him (even when he couldn't do it!) - she said he as a really lovely, uncomplicated fella! (all of this, I knew
) Also, a colleague of hers knew him well and said he really is bombproof!
So it sounds he might actually be what I was shopping for all along! Anyway - I love him already, so it doesn't matter!
Hopefully he'll arrive on Sunday - although the yard is still inaccessible to a box! I'm hoping this thaw will work it's way up there by Sunday morning - fingers crossed.
I'm SOOOOOOOO excited! Thanks to you all for all your support - although I think I'll be needing it a little more in the coming weeks/months!
