He's eaten half a horse lix

Came back to yard from putting horses out to find my lab finishing off a horse lix, there would have been no more than half of it, he has been sick twice and is drinking water, should I be worried

I'd be worried about what his back end might produce shortly! Sorry don't know of any side effects as such. Hope his tummy doesn't get to upset.

what kind and size of lyx? they normally have a lot of sugar, that is why he is drinking. should be ok, just will have a bit of the runs and maybe be a bit hyper with the sugar.
Labs normally have an iron constitution, my old lab (RIP Sol) would eat the most digusting things and never was up nor down. i even caught him knawing on the carcass of a seal at the beach once, god did that smell.

I'd second that! Labradors are in fact just a life support system for a stomach......hehe1

Is a horse lix basically salt? In that case he's had far too much salt (dogs don't sweat and hardly need any at all, much less per weight than us or horses) So I'd give your vet a call and ask if you should do anything about it.
