Mr Toby turned up at 6am YO did text me BUT never got ant of them :( so wasn't til about 11am that I clapped eyes on him but he's here safe and none the worse really, needs some TLC he was tucked up, shoes are loose, sore on his chin and got a few bites on his neck - midgy bits so will sort all that out.

He is a darling love him already :D :D ears forward that greeted me soon as I called his name bless him.
He will be going out in field in morning on a paddock that hasn't been grazed on all summer so he will love that.. he needs some grass.

Will keep close eye on him over next couple of days, he was very unsettled box walking, shifting weight on hinds, swishing - I was like OMG please nooo :( so got yard owner to come and check him over too, think he is just tired from journey so lots of rest he will get.
I haven't groomed him yet, don't want to over crowd him all in one go... but he is just adorable and slightly older than I was 1st advised, but to be honest that isn't an issue to me.
So without further adue... here is Mr Toby... (only got a couple)

Face that greeted me....

He came from N Ireland I believe the journey took about 12-14hours think he will sleep well tonight.
He has a great new home now..... he will be doted on heaps

Phew thats a trip and a half ! I hope he likes his new home :-) I am a sucker for a grey

Good luck - I know we will get plenty of updates x

Glad he is here safely, he looks lovely. Shame the owners werent honest about his age etc but not that it would have made a difference. Hope he settles quickly, no doubt its all been a big shock to him.
Have fun x

Thank you, I know but hey ho he will help me back into things again he's so gentle really is a sweetie I have fallen for him already the vibes I got from him is just brilliant he is just wary as to be expected bless his heart he'll be ok i will make sure of it. :) :)

He is stunning!!! :D Love his colour and such a kind face.

I missed your previous thread what height and stuff? :)

Wishing you lots of happy years with him. :D

When you say he is 17 not 14 - did you go to Ireland to try him? He does look lovely, but if you did not try him I hope there is nothing else they were not honest about. I know the age thing does not matter, but it would certainly affect the price!

I like him even more now I know he's a connie :-) but I am biased

Merly just so you know.... and don't let this put you off but my 19 year old conniex still runs rings around me and that is only if I am lucky the rest of the time she is flying through the air !!! here is her best butter wouldn't melt impression !!! Honestly she is very hardy too, doesn't really need feeding and I can count the number of times I have had to call the vet out for non routine stuff in 10 years on one hand and still be able to pick my nose !

I hope you have as much luck as me - for all her faults she still jumps like her life depends on it and gives me everythings she has got as long as I ask properly !! Have an infinate amount of fun

Hope you have good fun I bought my boy before passports told he was 13 (who knows) but we reckon add another 5 years onto him but I have had such a lot of fun with him and he was a good boy I had 9 happy years riding him we think he is about 23/24 now!

Sisters old boy was being ridden up until 32(real age) so good luck keep us posted.
