Heston bales.. how many in it??

Roughly in a heston bale of straw? how many small bales would there be?
and in a round bale of hay? how many small bales?

Answered your thread in NL. Basically you cannot possibly work this out unless you know the weight of the bales.

Thanks Tia Its the really huge bales of straw!! not to worry will just buy small ones!

We have mini hesstons - they vary in length but on average are 245cm (8ft) long, 85cm high (2ft 9") and 92cm (3ft) wide.

These would have around the equivalent to 12 little bales (depending on the weight of the small bale, as these big ones are packed very tightly!)

does any one know where to buy mini hestons (hay) direct?.Any where in Kent area.
