Hey I lost my confidence let me tell you what I did today!!

Ok so most of you have probably seen my posts before, I had a bad confidence knock a while back, but that story is behind me now so I won't even tell you about that!

I was posting last week about possibly taking on my friends 18 year old cob, that I absolutely adored and had got most of my confidence back because of her! Also I had issues that I posted about because my parents didn't approve and that got me down

So yeah, iv taken her on, buying her next week, and today I rode her out ALONE past a motocross track with bikes on it, down the lane over a dual carriageway bridge, through a small town, along a main road to show her off to my father! Who was actually quite pleased with her for the fact I had even ridden her there (best way to win him around I suppose, show up on his doorstep with the pony!!

My little sister was thrilled aswell, my dad went inside and told her to come outside because there was a reindeer outside, needless to say she was quite excited to see new pony on the driveway!!

So yeah I just wanted to share my brilliant day and say how proud I am of myself and pony confidence can come back so don't give up! This time last year you would have been lucky to catch me getting on a horse!!

I've not see your the posts but BLIMEY! From not being able to ride at all to riding past that little lot, and back, AMAZING!

It just shows how important it is to match the horse and rider.

I know there are many on here who can sling a leg over anything and ride them perfectly, but we all know that horses and their riders feed off one another for confidence, so the fact that your cob is more than happy with you as her rider can only lead to better and better things.

What an lovely Christmas gift, well done.
