Hey im new - help needed please.

Hey there, I have had to make a new account as couldnt remember email address or password i used :-/ . I used to be silver_robin - I own a 16.2 id x tb 11 year old bay gelding.

Now my issue is my horse was gelded late (4 yr old) and has always had a bit of an attitude with other geldings - Now he seems to have gone overly agressive and is chasing them round clamping his teeth around any bit of the horse he can get causing injury - mares and geldings are mixed but no other horse has an issue apart from mine .

We may be splitting the field but no 100% yet - is there anything on the market supplement wise i can give him to calm him down in field - i have seen rig calm by global herbs which can be for agressive gelding just looking at other options - he has been checked for been a rig and everything else checked.

My pony gelding was gelded late, he was a rig, he is fine with either mares or geldings but not mixed as he becomes very dominant. I think if yours is being a problem, possibly worse now as mares are in season, they need splitting into same sex groups if you can before there is a real injury caused.

I had terrible problems with a gelding I bought he was vicious with other horses it was terrible he broke though gates to get to them I thought I would have to PTS he attacked me when I went to try and rescue a mare he had on the ground
I had bills for thousands and thousands for dealing with his victims.
A dealer friend told me to try regumate ( the stuff for mares) total cure we did a blood test to see if he was a rig he was not, with out the regumate I would have PTS in time I weaned him off it and he was fine it was an odd experiance.
The vet was sceptical but it was the last chance for this one and it worked.
