hey everyone! have been lurking for a while so thought i would join and start posting!

this is my horse libby. she is 15.2hh thoroughbred x arab chestnut mare. have only had her a week so we are still very much getting to know each other

heres a piccie. hope it works

am tempted to change her name but i know its meant to be bad luck. i just dont think the name suits her. anyone got any name suggestions?

it just sounds wrong to me to be honest! but not sure what i would change it to. i was thinking calling her skye?

anyway i would have to do it fairly soon otherwise people on the yard will just keep calling her libby!

You have a lovely mare, unfortunaly her name doesn't seem to have the same effect.
She looks very similar to a mare at the yard I was on at college, she was called Mandy (not the best name but better than her current one, no offence).

Hi and welcome! Libby looks very cute, love her face :O) I don't think it's bad luck to change a horses name at all! My first horse came with the racing name Willo' the Wisp, and was known as Wispy (YUK!) - we changed it to Gypsy and thought of it as a new start!
