Anyone know if you do the HGV test, (if you passed your test after 1997) and pass does it enable you to pull a car and trailer too or do u need to do your trailer test aswell??

No, you need to do a separate trailer test.

i think it might if you do your artic test? that is c + e. dont quote me on that though!....go on direct gov website

No only as said above if you do the Artic course then you get C + E Licence E being able to tow a trailer of any size.
