I think she has gone to visit her sister today. I hope she is feeling much better now.

Thanks everyone I'm back to normal today, my sister is a lot better, in less discomfort and getting used to the bags. The staff nurse says she looks more cheerful too.
My damned car has broken down yet again so will have to go in tomorrow in husband's car, everyone else is out in theirs so I can't borrow one and we live 25 miles from the hospital.. (taxi isn't an option).
I've sent a message to her explaining and will talk with Brother in law later too.
I suppose I could drive the horsebox in but it's a bit big to park anywhere
