Just a quiet horse that is a good allrounder, i.e nothing slightly mad, they need to be quiet

If you're only doing it for experience a black wool jacket will be OK, tweed is much more correct though.

Cheers CastleMouse, thats quite helpful. He can be nice and quiet (great on roads), no idea how he would be at a show.

15 hand 16 year old grey gelding. Hes a Connemara x, Hes a good horse (shame about the rider!)

He is an absolute nightmare to keep clean!.
